Music Feature: Random Gibberish – Musical Comedy & Geek Rock

Random Gibberish has been channeling their love of pop culture and general insanity into music since 2003. The musical comedy team consists of the vocal talents of Erin Hatch and piano stylings of Matt Sernaker (and sometimes features appearances by that Kroze guy). They rock out and make people laugh with songs inspired by movies, television, comic books, and video games.

In 2009, they won ABC Studios Contest to write and produce an Official Theme Song for the hit Television Series LOST, to which ABC then created a custom opening title sequence set to their music!  The band also created the San Diego Comic-Concert: A Night of Geek Rock music series in 2009, which has been an annual event held during the week of San Diego Comic-Con International for the last 4 years.

Over the last few years, the comedy group has performed in venues throughout California, as well as Magfest in Washington DC, and have worked their way into becoming regular guest performers at the annual Youmacon convention in Detroit.

The guys are also hard at work on their original Zombie Musical release titled “And Then The Zombies Came…A Musical Apocalypse!” which will be released in 2013!
