After the premiere of Syfy’s new series last night of Heroes of Cosplay, we wanted to catch up with one of the shows featured cosplayers. Victoria, who goes by the nickname of Scruffy Rebel, was kind enough to give us some of her time today to chat about the show, the communities reaction, and her own views into the cosplay community at large.

For those that aren’t familiar with her amazing cosplays, especially in the realm of Star Wars characters, she’s been part of the scene since 1999 when she attended Anime Expo for the first time.
