Blu-ray Review: Iron Man 3

All is not well in the life of Tony Stark. Fresh off his world-saving feats in Marvel’s The Avengers, everyone’s favorite eccentric billionaire inventor is plagued by PTSD, obsessed with building iteration after iteration of his famous Iron Man armor, while having trouble in his home life with his significant other and business partner Pepper Potts. When a terrorist known as the Mandarin starts attacking civilian targets in the United States, Tony calls him out and triggers a personal vendetta that can take away everything he loves and threaten the security of the entire world.

Movie Review: Iron Man 3

The Invincible Iron Man returns to the big screen for his latest solo adventure in Iron Man 3. After the events of Marvel’s The Avengers, our armored hero hasn’t quite been the same. It’s hard to blame Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr – The Avengers) for being a little off after teaming up with a Norse God, a monster, a living legend, and a couple of spies to fight off an alien invasion. Stark better get his act together quickly, because a new terrorist threat has emerged, and it will soon be up to Iron Man to save the day! Taking cues from the fan-favorite “Extremis” storyline, Iron Man 3 is the perfect way to get “Phase Two” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe into motion!

Ben Stiller (producer of The Ruins) stars as Tugg Speedman as who in turn stars as Four Leaf Tayback. Speedman is the ultimate action hero whose fame has seen better days.

Jack Black (Kung Fu Panda) stars as Jeff Portnoy who in turn stars as Fats. Portnoy is a heroin addict whose fame is largely based on movies featuring himself playing multiple roles in fat suits.
