If you have not been excited for The Avengers since first hinted at in the Iron Man franchise, you have no soul. Or whatever. Maybe not that extreme, but DUDE. The movie was destined to be either a massively awesome, mind-blowing life experience or the worst 2+ hours of life. As soon as it was announced that Joss Whedon was directing the film, I knew the former would be the case. I went to see the movie after having driven for 16 hours the day prior and still getting up super early that morning, and I was so pumped up afterwards that I was able to stay up for two hours more than normal playing Modern Warfare 3. Seriously. It is that good. I’ll explain why… and try my hardest to be as brief as possible. That’s gonna be hard, considering how much I loved this movie.

Miracles really do come true as Torchwood finally returns with the brand new series of Torchwood: Miracle Day now on Blu-Ray and DVD. This newest incarnation of the Torchwood series is brought to us thanks to a new partnership between BBC and Starz. which has allowed the series to expand in both scope and budget.

Supanova 2012 officially opened to general public ticket holders on a very sunny Saturday the 14th of April at 10am. The Royal Melbourne Showgrounds was the (not so) secret headquarters for the event, with ample parking spaces and several public transportation options (including a special Supanova train service) in operation meaning that getting to the event itself was a rather straightforward affair.
TV Review: My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic – “A Canterlot Wedding”

I can say that without a single doubt that My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic has been one of the most consistently entertaining and well written shows on television in recent memory, and I have no fear of being ridiculed or laughed at. This is because the show has grown to such enormous levels of popularity, taking over the internet with its massive fanbase at a lightning quick speed that could only be compared to Rainbow Dash making a Sonic Rainboom™.
Special Event: My Little Pony Royal Wedding, A Second Look!
“How do you feel about ponies?”
I was in a parking lot with a friend and a fellow brony when I was asked this random-in-almost-every-scenario question. I could tell there was some underlying reference that I didn’t catch, but I didn’t know how to answer. My ultimate response was a hesitant, “…why?” The aforementioned brony gave a brief but relatively informative breakdown of the show, mentioning some of the puntastic names (i.e. Fillydelphia, Manehattan, etc.), and, if we’re being honest, I wasn’t quite sold. Like most girls, I loved My Little Pony when I was younger. I even had a place for them in my heart of hearts as I went into young adulthood in that Peter Pan “never gonna grow up” kind of way. Despite not having watched the movies or the shows due to my ever-lasting tomboy phase, the ponies never failed to make me smile. But would I, as a young adult, be captivated by this show like some of my peers seem to be?

Special Event: My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Royal Wedding
This past weekend, The Hub put on a spectacular event in honor of what could be called “The Wedding Event Of The Year” (TM). Shining Armor and Princess Candance are getting married on the season finale of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, which airs this Saturday at 1 pm eastern on The Hub. No expense was spared for the Wedding party in Los Angeles, which featured a menagery of guests who were excited about the royal event!
