Trinity, the daughter of Wonder Woman, is back for more adventures in her first miniseries! We all know how important the word “crisis” is to the DC Universe, but what happens when you add a trio of time-displaced versions of Trinity AND a couple of corgis into the mix? Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman #1 is about to answer that question and more…

Official Synopsis:
Tom King and Belén Ortega take breakout star Trinity into her own miniseries! Back by popular demand and now with her own miniseries… Trinity! It all begins when the daughter of Wonder Woman embarks on her most dangerous adventure yet to enter the timeline to find her father. As the young hero knows, messing with time has its consequences, but that doesn’t mean she learned her lesson the first time. Things are about to get ruff and the Super Sons have gone to the dogs. Prepare for a Crisis of Infinite Corgis! Writer Tom King and artist Belén Ortega return to Trinity after their celebrated run of backup stories in the pages of Wonder Woman. Trust us, you won’t want to miss Lizzie’s first full-size adventure!

I had the pleasure of speaking with Tom King in April about this series, and it was abundantly clear that he was incredibly excited about this book. The Wonder Woman ongoing series has been receiving critical acclaim (and an Eisner Nomination for Best Ongoing for 2025), and the backup stories featuring Trinity, Jon, and Damien have been some of my favorite moments. I love the dynamic between these characters, as it’s something that we don’t traditionally see with superheroes.
Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman is a gift to readers, expanding the heroic adventures of the next generation of DC’s heroes in an extremely entertaining storyline. Trinity’s unlikely team-up and timey-wimey travel through some of the pivotal moments in DC’s rich history work in tandem to create a unique character-centric experience. I honestly don’t know which part I loved more, the interactions between the Trinity variations, or Wonder Robin’s explanation of events to Pariah. From the art to the lettering, all elements of this book hit, and I think that all comes down to the sense of pride that has been infused into the story. Readers are in for a treat with the first chapter, “Crisis on Infinite Corgis”, and I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds in subsequent issues.
