Ye Old Pandemic Times, Fin

Irreconcilable differences. Notice the hero prefers pineapple. Just saying!

Original Cartoon

Produced near the end of my sticky pad phase. I had too much story to tell for those little notes, apparently. My first three day storyline helped set the pace for what became the Monday-Wednesday-Friday rhythm of posting cartoons. I posted the original here on social media and ComicsOnline.com on June 18th, 2020, and again during a vacation to the Florida Keys when we were all free from Quarantine.

Notice the “Land of the Lost” poster. Very timely since Netflix just announced developing a new Land of the Lost series for streaming. I wish them the best of success, but for my family, the Land of the Lost movie (2009) with Will Farrell and Danny McBride will remain one of our favorite movies. I know this was before Danny McBride got tired of the dumb Southerner roles and added his own nuance to Southern Archetypes by writing his own roles, but this movie remains one of the top ten movies my family loves. We have watched Danny McBride’s writing skills grow in his trilogy of East Bound & Down, Vice Principals, and the over-the-top Righteous Gemstones again and again. The Pandemic and Streaming Services brought us train wrecks like The Tiger King, but also made an environment for McBride’s fifth-grade boy humor and Carolina locations to grow and thrive .

Critter (Road) Sighting in Westminster, South Carolina!

Speaking of filming in South Carolina Locations: Ugga Dugga may have let this sighting go to his head. He also thinks The Tiger King is a Disney movie he has not seen.

Critter merchandise is for sale on Redbubble. Look for the JoeIconic store. All proceeds go to buying more stickers, temporary tattoos, and make coloring pages for the children who come through our local crisis charity! Critter fans send Critter Sightings from Amsterdam to Charleston to London to Alaska. I post Critter Sightings on social media on the weekends, sometimes. You can also donate via https://ko-fi.com/joeiconic .

This “Director’s Cut” of the cartoons is exclusively on ComicsOnline.com! Come back to ComicsOnline for Critters, Comic Book Reviews, and Everything Geek Pop Culture!

#NotesforTracy is an all ages comicstrip, inspired from people and happenings in my life. The Critters deal with anxiety, small town superheroes, gym rats, preschool capers, and SO many dad jokes! This comic strip started as doodles on sticky pad notes, and the audience includes family, friends, and now a growing #CritterTribe!
