Dealing with Anxiety (again!)

Dealing with anxiety one of my common (or at least revisited) themes.

I posted the original version of this comic strip on December 3, 2020. The ideas I incorporate as themes can take sometime to germinate before they sprout into storylines! Anxiety is another recurring theme. Booger Buddha and Mandy’s mother Gabby try to help navigate different coping strategies for dealing with anxiety. I cannot look at this comic strip without seeing the pencil marks that did not erase well.

Critter Coloring by Britton

Thank you to Britton for the Critter Coloring! I think Mandy would have found your art more helpful than the online anxiety strategy suggestions.

Critter Sighting (with Royalty!)

Sophia, Miss Teen Melon Queen of the Hampton County Watermelon Festival Royal Court visited for a Special Critter Sighting! She is representing my former home town (Hampton County), and from my present home town (Lexington.) Watch her continue to do amazing things at Instagram @sophiar_official or TikTok @sophie_17777

Critter merchandise is for sale on Redbubble. Look for the JoeIconic store. All proceeds go to buying more stickers, temporary tattoos, and make coloring pages for the children who come through our local crisis charity! Critter fans send Critter Sightings from Amsterdam to Charleston to London to Alaska. I post Critter Sightings on social media on the weekends, sometimes. You can also donate via https://ko-fi.com/joeiconic .

This “Director’s Cut” of the cartoons is exclusively on ComicsOnline.com! Come back to ComicsOnline for Critters, Comic Book Reviews, and Everything Geek Pop Culture!

#NotesforTracy is an all ages comicstrip, inspired from people and happenings in my life. The Critters deal with anxiety, small town superheroes, gym rats, preschool capers, and SO many dad jokes! This comic strip started as doodles on sticky pad notes, and the audience includes family, friends, and now a growing #CritterTribe!
