An Emily Dickinson Moment

I have posted this poem actually twice before; it’s a battle hymn to volunteers and those who serve fellow humans in their profession.

The Emily Dickinson Museum used on of the earlier drafts for Emily Dickinson Day, and it made my day!

First Draft

This version accompanied my wife’s lunch on Day 3 of the Pandemic, and probably ended up on the back of her office door. Posted on Facebook and Instagram, way deep in the Archives!

Second Draft

I posted the original version of this comic strip on October 29, 2020. Note it was originally Latuda. I used Mandy instead, since it fits the Volunteer storyline better.
