Treasure Hoard
I bet “Dragon Owned” may affect the rating of a comic book on the pricing market. Sure, there is a prestige, but how do you get rid of the smell of fire breath and imperiled villagers?
First Draft

This comic strip was originally posted on October 26, 2000! I used some of my favorite books as the hoard in the first version, which included Clocks, by my friend Jason Rolfe! JR and I used to hone our creative writing skills on The Doom Lounge Creative Writing Group which started as a yahoo mailing list creative writing project, which was set in a Dungeons and Dragons/colonial Charleston South Carolina (but with more kobolds and folk singing half-orcs.) JR went on to become an outstanding in the absurdist tradition, and I, well, write for this comic strip! Check his works out!
Critter Colorings by Nova

Thank you, Nova! Stayed tuned for her sister’s Critter Coloring! Nova and Rain had questions about the comic strip characters, and the enthusiasm that keeps me drawing!
Critter merchandise is for sale on Redbubble. Look for the JoeIconic store. All proceeds go to buying more stickers, temporary tattoos, and make coloring pages for the children who come through our local crisis charity! Critter fans send Critter Sightings from Amsterdam to Charleston to London to Alaska. I post Critter Sightings on social media on the weekends, sometimes.
