ComicsOnline returns with more exclusive interviews from San Diego Comic-Con! Over the last year, we’ve been highlighting the creative talent in the comic and pop culture world through our SECRET ORIGINS series (part of ComicsOnline’s 25th Anniversary Celebration). Actress and writer Hannah Rose May kindly joined us for our next installment, and discussed her entry into comics and more insights in crafting Exorcism at 1600 Penn (available today from IDW Publishing) in this special discussion at SDCC 2025.

Special thanks to IDW Publishing for arranging this interview. Make sure you grab your copy of Exorcism at 1600 Penn, now available at your local comic stores!

Official Synopsis:
IDW debuts a chilling new four-issue original supernatural horror series perfect for fans of the Nice House on the Lake and the Haunting of Hill House. From the pen of rising comics writer Hannah Rose May (Rogues’ Gallery) and acclaimed artist Vanesa Del Rey (Scarlet Witch).

Kelly Doyle has just been elected the first woman president of the United States of America, and boiling political tension could spill over at any second. Having to balance being a mother to two teenagers and navigating the shifting media landscape, all while preventing World War III, has Kelly spread thin, but she could never predict that the nation’s hallowed halls would soon become a demonic battleground for good versus evil.
