He ALWAYS has a plan.

When he suddenly finds himself in a strange version of Gotham, he realizes that his test is only just beginning. Get ready to witness a different kind of battle royale, as DC K.O. Knightfight #1 is about to hit stores today.
Over the last 30+ years, comic book readers have been inundated with event series. More often than not, you’ve got the main title (ranging from 5-9 issues) plus multiple tie-ins that vary in quality. Many times, the adjacent titles don’t have a lot to say and rarely make an impact on the larger narrative. Thankfully, the creative minds behind DC K.O. and the current slate of titles are reinforcing their desire to have every story count. Knightfight #1 was a welcome surprise, providing readers with a fun and unique approach to Batman’s latest journey to save the universe. It would be easy to have Batman fight various Robins as part of this story, but I loved the fact that there was so much more to the concept, and it is sure to surprise readers.
Not only were the character dynamics impressive, Dan Mora’s artistic designs and ability to turn every book into an experience make this a must-read. The colors from Triona Farrell pop off the page, expertly complementing Mora’s creative stylings. Lettering is the critical element that can’t be ignored in the world of comics, and Tom Napolitano brings it home to create the perfect tone for this unique tale.
Don’t skip DC K.O. Knightfight #1. This isn’t just another event tie-in, and you’ll be surprised to see how well it works with the larger narrative.
