Chase Masterson (Leeta) discusses the world of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Giving Tuesday, and more with ComicsOnline!
by Matt Sernaker, Editor-In-Chief
The talented members of the Star Trek family returned to the Midwest for more adventures at Creation Entertainment’s ST-CHI: TREK TO CHICAGO event! Since it’s Giving Tuesday, we couldn’t think of a better way than to celebrate with our next guest.
We are pleased to announce that Chase Masterson, better known as Leeta from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, joined Host Matt Sernaker for a special new segment with ComicsOnline. Chase shared stories from her time on DS9, the casting process, her entry into the world of entertainment, and her impactful work with The Heroic Journey Mental Health (also known as Pop Culture Hero Coalition). Make sure you stay tuned all the way to the very end for a special bonus discussion about another fan-favorite sci-fi series (#BringBackSliders).
Giving Tuesday takes place today (December 2nd), and you can make a difference for others with The Heroic Journey Mental Health. Donate through their Be Kind Campaign and receive free merchandise (image below). 100% of your donation fuels research-based programs nationwide, which teach kids life-saving skills — including resilience, empathy, kindness, conflict resolution, navigating peer pressure, and ending bullying in all its forms.

Special thanks to Chase Masterson, Creation Entertainment, and ST-Chi: Trek to Chicago for arranging this interview.
