Blu-ray Review: Entourage: The Complete Seventh Season
The boys are back again.
The Show
Those unfamiliar with Entourage should definitely take some time to view the previous seasons before even considering watching season seven or reading this review.

Now is the time to relive the epic five year tale of the Atlantis Expedition. Watch as the team faces off against threats from the Wraith, the Replicators, the Wraith, the Replicators, the…(wait this is getting a bit repetitive), and many other threats!

The series features many fantastic moments, but here are just a few of my personal favorites:
DVD Review: YellowBrickRoad
Follow the Yellow Brick Road, oh my.
by Karl Madsen, Media Editor, Horror
Urban legend and the chance to prove, disprove, or to simply solve the mystery, is the stuff that horror films are made of. Joining the ranks of Event Horizon, Blair Witch Project, The Cave, The Legend of Hell House, and any number of ‘find out what happened’ flicks is YellowBrickRoad.

TV Review: ThunderCats “The Sword of Omens” and “Ancient Spirits of Evil” (SERIES PREMIERE)
by Kroze Kresky, Media Editor
“Thunder… Thunder…. Thunder… THUNDERCATS HO!”
Back in the 80’s, that phrase was heard in living rooms all over the US and kids tuned in every week to watch the continuing adventures of a band of humanoid cats from space as they fought the evil of Mumm-Ra and searched out a new home for themsleves to win over the hearts of children everywhere! Fast forward 30 years later and it looks like the cycle is set to repeat itself once again as ThunderCats returns to TV in a huge way!
Blu-ray Review: Doctor Who Series 6, Part 1

DVD Review: [REC] 2
by Karl Madsen, Media Editor, Horror
What are some of movie watchers biggest gripes? How about foreign movies with completely unknown actors? Most viewers are really irritated by subtitles, especially in an action movie. And of course there’s the questionable sequel to a flick that seems to have a plausible outcome at the conclusion of the first movie. Well [REC] 2 fits these descriptions, and breaks the mold as well.
Movie Review: Cowboys & Aliens
by Kroze Kresky, Media Editor
As a little kid playing with your action figures, I am sure you had such epic mystical bouts between two unlikely factions… Ninjas vs. the WWF (What is with this WWE bullshit nowadays?), Power Rangers vs. Gobots, Dinosaurs vs. your sister’s barbie dolls which you did totally not borrow to film a complete version of the plot to Dragon Warrior IV with and then had the VHS tape completely fuck up so it was all for naught… but one of the most famous combination that many kids growing up (including yours truly) was putting all your alien monsters against your cowboy figures riding around on horses. It seemed that Hollywood had tapped into their inner child recently for inspiration for their newest hot summer action blockbuster feature film, but they left the most important ingredient back buried in their toybox…
Movie Review: The Smurfs in 3D
By Brenda Waldrop, Media Editor
If you think the new movie The Smurfs is just for kids, you might want to think again. I admit, at times it’s annoyingly cheerful, but it acknowledges and even makes fun of its own cuteness at times. There’s also the gratuitous substitution of the word “Smurf” for any other word, and let’s not forget the annoying, sticks in your head, Smurf song. However, there are a few good reasons to look beyond all that, which I can sum up in three points.
Movie Review: Captain America: The First Avenger
As a girl who didn’t grow up interested in comics at all, I’ve become surprisingly excited about them lately. My latest conquest is reading through The Ultimate Avengers comics to get a feel for what is coming for us in 2012 in something that I imagine will break box office records everywhere. Captain America: The First Avenger is another introduction to one of the characters in that movie, and in my opinion, only the Iron Man films have surpassed this movie on the silver screen (at least in the Marvel universe).
