Supanova 2012 officially opened to general public ticket holders on a very sunny Saturday the 14th of April at 10am. The Royal Melbourne Showgrounds was the (not so) secret headquarters for the event, with ample parking spaces and several public transportation options (including a special Supanova train service) in operation meaning that getting to the event itself was a rather straightforward affair.

For those not in the loop (and let’s face it, unless you are a geek somewhere in the merry land of “Oz”/Aus or possess an uncanny mutant ability to pinpoint any expo or convention at any given moment, chances are that you aren’t in said loop), Supanova is a pop culture expo in Australia that has run once a year since 2002.
