PSN Mini Game Review: Zombie Tycoon

Releasing last October, Zombie Tycoon was one of the first Playstation Network “Minis” made available to the public. PSN Minis are a collection of games that can be downloaded and played on either the PS3 or the PSP and are smaller than 100Mb in size. Minis generally offer short, fun and easy-to-pick-up experiences that are light on the wallet. Priced at $4.99, Zombie Tycoon is one of the more original experiences you’ll find and we here at ComicsOnline thought we’d take a good hard look at a game we, and you, might have missed previously.

DVD Review: The Bad Mother’s Handbook

The movie The Bad Mother’s Handbook, based on the bestselling book by Kate Long, is a basic story about a teen pregnancy, how it brings out old bitterness among family members, and could eventually tear a family apart. While learning secrets of her own past as well as trying to keep her daughter from making the same mistakes she did, Karen (Catherine Tate) manages to keep her mother alive, almost disown her daughter, Charlotte (Holly Grainger), and realize the patterns in her own life being reflected in her daughters.
CC2010 Futurama Signing
For the third day of Con, Futurama was the main attraction for us. The cast showed up and signed pictures for some of their biggest fans. Billy West, John Di Maggio, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr and Lauren Tom were the actors to appear, and they are probably the most recognized and loved out of the whole cast. They were all so very nice and really great to talk to. They loved the fact that so many people have watched the show since they were younger and look up to the actors.

Blu-ray Review: The Losers

Hold on, I'm getting a call…
In 2003 writer Andy Diggle and artist Jock brought a new comic to DC's mature Vertigo line of comics: The Losers. As is often the case with Vertigo fare, this was no superhero comic. The Losers features a squad of mercenary spies who got burned by their government handler. Like many other Vertigo titles, The Losers is peppered with profanity and violence and duly earns its mature readers warning. Beside the distinctive fantastic artwork, one thing made The Losers stand out from other things on the newsstand: It was clearly meant for the big screen all along.

SDCC 2010: Last day, Sunday!
The last day of Comic-Con, oh no! It always feels like Comic-Con ends far too soon and I am forced to pack up my swag and go back home with four days of new memories and all kinds of fun. Sentimentality aside, though, Sunday was a great day! Panels were still on the rather lacking side, but autograph signings – ahoy!
The day started out with snapping a few more pictures of the Ghost Adventures guys, though not actually standing in line this time. However, Zack seemed either happy enough, or annoyed enough that I wasn’t standing in line, to wave at me while I was taking these few photos. After my last encounter with him, I really wasn’t sure what to think. However, photo evidence!
