TV Review: Teen Wolf 3×2 “Chaos Rising”
The summer continues with the guilty pleasure MTV Show Teen Wolf. Derek and Scott find out what the alpha pack has been doing with Erica and Boyd, Isaac is frozen nearly to death, and Lydia screams at … nothing. Also the show reminds people that sex = death or bad things in the horror genre.
TV Review: Teen Wolf 3×1 “Tattoo”
Join Chelsea as she watches the guilty pleasure MTV show Teen Wolf, now in its third season. While it doesn’t have great special effects, it embraces the cheesiness of the genre and comes out entertaining. There’s a pack of alphas in town looking to take out the betas. What does this mean for Scott and his friends?
TV Review: Game of Thrones 3×10 “Mhysa”
Chelsea and Jachelle discuss the last episode of season three of Game of Thrones. Was it a satisfying conclusion? Can we really survive another year of waiting? This season went by so fast, and the only thing we can look forward to is waiting for the DVD set to come out. Or, you know, actually read the books.
Movie Review: Man of Steel
Man of Steel is a re-imagining. Those who have a hard time with new takes on classic characters in stories that have already been told may have a hard time with Man of Steel. Those who found Star Trek: Into Darkness offensive because they felt too precious about Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan or those who flipped tables over the fact that The Amazing Spider-Man failed to include “With great power comes great responsibility” may find that Man of Steel is similarly irreverent about previous canon. This is not your father’s Last Son of Krypton. It’s not your grandfather’s either.
Movie Review: This Is The End
Some of us possess a certain mindset that will sometimes try to form a plan for what to do in the worst of all possible circumstances: The end of the world. Gather supplies, find like-minded colleagues, locate a defensible position, build a new life. Oftentimes those like-minded survivors are people that we knew and liked when the world was whole: family, co- workers, best friends… But what happens to those relationships when the comforts of the world disappear? What happens when none of your acquaintances have much in the way of survival skills? What happens when the only people you have at your disposal are five other comedy actors who were barely tolerable people to begin with?
This Is The End.

TV Review: Grimm Season Two
Chelsea delves into the NBC show Grimm after it finished its second season. Nick Burkhardt is both a cop and a supernatural hunter known as a “Grimm.” Unlike his ancestors, he’s decided to make friends with some of the Wesen he’s supposed to be hunting. In the second season of the show, Nick has to juggle his concern over his ill girlfriend, his rising rivalry with his boss, and saving the city from rampaging Wesen. It’s all in a day’s work for a world weary Grimm.
TV Review: Game of Thrones “Second Sons”
Chelsea and Jachelle talk in detail about their favorite and least favorite parts of Game of Thrones episode “Second Sons.” It’s time for a royal wedding, only this one is between Sansa and Tyrion. Neither of them want to be there, but somehow it becomes a hilariously uncomfortable scene. There’s blood leeches (ew), inappropriate bath scenes, and Sam the Slayer. Countdown to the end: two more episodes.
