Batman Returns
Just read Batman and Robin 8. Holy crap that was awful. What brain damage did Grant Morrison sustain in order to completely lose his storytelling ability. I swear I thought the pages were stapled in the wrong order, that I had missed something, and sometimes it was between panels on the same page! How awful for DC to continue to let him suck this bad. It's like humoring your senile grandparent.
"Oh no, Mister Morrison, it's great, really. Sure, we'll have him draw it just as you specified. Yep, you're the best! Bye!"

Blu-ray Review: Doctor Who -The Complete Specials
The long awaited final adventures of David Tennant as The Doctor have just arrived on Blu-ray in the Doctor Who Complete Specials Collection! These final adventures see The Doctor travel from Earth to the far off reaches of the known universe and back. During one of these adventures, he is warned that his tale will end soon and that when he hears someone knock four times, he will die. Can The Doctor escape his own fate? These final five stories are a perfect tribute to the talent of David Tennant and demonstrate time and time again why he will always be remembered as one of the best actors who has played the role of The Doctor.

Halo fans looking for something to hold them off until this fall's release of Halo: Reach may have found what they’re looking for with DC and Warner Bros. release of Halo Legends: A collection of anime stories in the Halo universe. The majority of the stories are excellent with the animation equally so. That, along with the inclusion of some awesome special features makes this a great addition to any Halo fan’s collection.

Manga Review: Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee), Volume 2
A man-made star illuminates only part of the world of Amberground. Split into three different caste systems, only Letter Bees (and a few other government agencies) can pass between the sections. Akatsuki is in the center, and is illuminated completely by the star/sun; it is also strictly regulated by the government as to who can enter. Then there's Yuusari, where it is mostly twilight, and where the middle class lives. The lowest class lives in the complete night time of Yodaka, where the dangerous creatures, Gaichuu, are found in great numbers.

The Girls are back – no, I don't mean Charlies Angels, although some of us older guys might like that. I am speaking of those deadly women/demons with those awesome swords, the Claymores, but this time they are coming at you in the High Definition of Blu-ray.
