NYCC 09: Robot Chicken Panel

The Panel was made up of Seth Green, Breckin Meyer, Kevin Shinick, and Geoff Johns. There was an audience member is a full Mad Scientist costume with Animated Robot Chicken Puppet that really smoked. Many attendees wanted to take photos with the costumed character. The panel emerged and Seth Green wanted to also get photos of the costume.

The panel was very funny but offered very few details about season four. They did reveal an opening sequence for the Full Assed Christmas Special that was a parody of the opening sequence of Casino Royale. Pretty funny.

They also showed a film of themselves goofing off around the office making a bet with Kevin Shinick that he couldn’t eat 12 donuts in under 30 minutes for $140.

They spent most of the panel speaking with audience members and answering questions.

One Audience member who had attended last year asked if Seth would strike a sexy pose which resulted ultimately in Breckin Meyer almost taking his shirt off and then climbing under the table to simulate giving Seth Green a blowjob.

Another audience members asked about the costs of producing the show which Seth Green jokingkly asked if the audience member wanted a line item list.

Another wanted to know if we might see more Teenaged Mutant Turtles this season and the answer was no.

Another member asked about the Archie: Final Destination sketch that was not included on the DVD and they acted as if they did not know what the fan was talking about giving the appearance that perhaps a lawsuit or some other issue may have existed.

They also talked about how they acquire the toys used in the show and they said they recent purchased a whole box of MASK toys.

Seth told a funny story about how he dressed up as Spiderman a number of years ago to remain anonymous although his short size gave him away.

He said that he felt the San Diego Comic Con has begun to feel like Sundance with all the movie and television booths and less like a comic con.

They said the most expensive sketch was the GI JOE weather Dominator sketch.

All in all a fun panel. Seth really wanted to get more questions in.
