Manga Review: InuYasha Volume 48: Feeding Frenzy

Overview
The latest volume of Rumiko Takahashi’s epic adventure, InuYasha, begins with a moment of despair for Sesshomaru and Kohaku as they realize Rin, a young orphan who’s devoted herself to Sesshomaru, is not going to survive the venture in the Meido stone. No spoilers there as it occurs on the first few pages. However, Sesshomaru isn’t willing to accept that the girl is gone, so he decides to face the Lord of the Underworld in an attempt to get her back, even though he’s already saved her by using the Tenseiga, and that’s a one-time deal.

Movie Review: Iron Man 2

If you’re like me, you wasted no time getting to the theatre to see Iron Man 2 this weekend.  Maybe you even braved the midnight showing the night of May 6th.  You’d been tracking the casting planning for over a year, watched every trailer the minute it was released, and didn’t even get pissed when Robert Downey Jr.’s appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con’s Iron Man 2 booth, brought the painfully difficult traffic on the dealer floor to a complete standstill.  So, was it worth it?

DVD Review: Iron Man- The Complete 1994 Animated Series Collection

I AM IRON MAN!

During the early 90's, Marvel had several animated series on TV which featured a vast array of characters from their library. Following the success of X-Men: The Animated Series and Spider-Man: The Animated Series, they decided to bring the adventures of Iron Man and the Fantastic Four to the small screen in a programming block called the "Marvel Action Hour". These two shows would feature not only the title characters, but featured many heroes from Marvel comics in cameo roles. With the release of Iron Man 2 in theaters, Disney has released Iron Man- The Complete 1994 Animated Series Collection on DVD for the first time ever!

DVD Review: Merlin – The Complete First Season

Legends have been used to show us how to live and embolden the spirit of the listener, or the reader. Sometimes, legends embolden the spirit of a whole nation, or even multiple nations. One of these is the Legend of Camelot. We all know the familiar tale of the just and righteous King Arthur and Queen Guinevere; his noble knight Sir Lancelot; his most trusted advisor, friend, and wizard Merlin; and the most famous of all swords, Excalibur. We have all read, or been told of how he brought his knights together, his quest for the Holy Grail, and how he ruled the kingdom of Camelot. We, as a society, never get tired of hearing the legend, or, in our modern era, seeing it brought to life in movies or on TV. Now BBC has brought us the newest incarnation of a classic tale in Merlin: The Complete First Season!
