Los Angeles, CA (August 20, 2010) — After Dark Films CEO Courtney Solomon continues the momentum of After Dark Originals “A New Brand of Fear” with his announcement of the bone-chilling 5th film, Fertile Ground. Writer/Director Adam Gierasch (Autopsy, Night of the Demons)co-wrote this film together with Jace Anderson. The film stars Leisha Hailey (The L Word) and Gale Harold (Queer as Folk, Desperate Housewives).

Handheld Gaming News: Super Scribblenauts Adjectivizes Gamescom

 

To celebrate Super Scribblenauts’ presence at Gamescom, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is proud to release a brand new trailer showcasing some of the more descriptive updates to the game, like a giant, purple, flying, flaming car. Super Scribblenauts, available October 2010, will include 120 brand new levels, hundreds of new objects in a robust dictionary and an adjective system with thousands of adjectives.

Movie News: Losers Take All

ALEX STEYERMARK TO DIRECT KYLE GALLNER AND STELLAR CAST IN LOSERS TAKE ALL

FROM THE PRODUCER OF THE BREAKFAST CLUB AND JUNEBUG

Alex Steyermark, director of Prey for Rock & Roll and One Last Thing will direct Kyle Gallner of recent A Nightmare On Elm Street fame as well as "Warehouse 13" star Allison Scagliotti and Tania Raymonde of "Lost" in the upcoming film LOSERS TAKE ALL.  The picture began principal photography earlier this week in and around Memphis, Tennessee.  The cast also includes Alexia Rasmussen (Listen to Your Heart), Aaron Himelstein ("Joan of Arcadia," The Informers), Billy Kay (Yelling to the Sky), Adam Herschman (Soul Men, Accepted) and newcomer Peter Brensinger.

With the announcement of a brand new Mortal Kombat coming to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011, the newest chapter of the iconic fighting game franchise marks a triumphant return to the series’ mature presentation and a reinvention of its classic 2D fighting mechanic combined with the latest technology to up the gore factor a few notches. Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios are unveiling two new characters who will join the fight in the upcoming Mortal Kombat – Cyrax and Kitana.

So you waited all year for San Diego Comic-Con, you bought your tickets the day after the previous year, you rented a hotel and flew all the way across the country.
