One of the best things about PAX Aus was the enormous presence from the indie games community, with stacks of local and not-so-local indie games developers showing off their titles. The Voxel Agents in particular are one such developer to keep an eye out for. Their previous game Puzzle Retreat was a deceptively simple-seeming game that slowly forced the player to expand their mental abilities in order to plan out how to solve each new puzzle.
Jayden got the chance to interview Shath, the artist for Puzzle Retreat and also their new game, Toy Mania, which is well worth a look into for puzzle gamers who enjoy having to quickly think on their feet.
