Manga Review: One Piece: East Blue 7-8-9

One Piece stars Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate. It's an era of piracy, and the greatest treasure of all is the fabled One Piece. The world is full of pirates, searching for plunder and adventure, and Luffy is determined to gather a fantastic crew and become the King of the Pirates! His crew so far, Zolo the swordsman and Nami the navigator, both have their own goals and dreams to shoot for. The series is comical, cartoony and fast-paced, filled with wild battles and over the top character designs. Passion, pride, searching out your dreams and treasure, both gold and the things people hold dear, are themes in this whimsical, creative series.

Team Kakashi take it upon themselves to fight two of the Akatsuki members, Deidara and Sasori.

Yaoi Review: 9th Sleep

Luke was born without a father. No, not in the sense that his father was unknown, but that his mother, Marian, had never known a man's touch, and was a sixteen year old virgin when she bore him. Such an event became known as a "Maria possession", although many doubted the veracity of such claims. Luke dreams of things he does not understand, of places and people, of a castle in the sky. His planet had died once, and only the intervention of a savior – a "god", if you will – who purified the polluted atmosphere, saved it from death. In the city known as "Birth", the legend of this god still lingers, and people believe that he still lives in the sky above them.

Manga Review: Dorohedoro, Volume 1
Sorcerers and their victims live in the crude world of "The Hole". What once used to be a beautiful, successful collaboration of towns is now a dumpy, blood-stained pile of dysfunctional, unsafe living spaces. Caiman was a victim of a Sorcerer's powerful spell, one that transformed his face into a lizard's head. Now he spends his days hanging out with Nikaido (a human who has yet to be a Sorcerer's guinea pig) killin' Sorcerers, and looking for the one that "transformed" his life along with erasing his past.
