There are some incredible books hitting your local comic book store this week, so let’s dive right in and highlight some of our picks for the week of June 17th, 2026

Trillion Dollar Kid #1
Rating:

by Matt Sernaker
Official Synopsis: Among us are…The Unbelievables, and Tommy Townsend III—the world’s first 13-year-old trillionaire—wants to find them! His world abounds with wonder and spectacle, including a robot bodyguard named Sterling, all trying to make the world a better place. But Tommy learns quickly that money can’t buy everything…and propels himself on a journey that sets the stage for this entire new universe!
Review: If only we had this kind of trillionaire in real life…The Trillion Dollar Kid ironically launches this week from Ghost Machine, taking readers on an exciting new adventure that feels like a mix of Richie Rich and Ducktales, with a dash of Avengers thrown in as the search for The Unbelievables kicks off in style.

The Amazing Spider-Man #31
Rating:

by Matt Sernaker
Official Synopsis: THE TALK… Peter Parker’s world will never be the same. Don’t miss one of the most pivotal issues in Spider-Man history!
Review: Yet another random retcon for Spider-Man. Peter’s long-lost third cousin (twice removed) shows up. Just kidding, but only kinda! Aunt May actually had a kid with Uncle Ben, but they just didn’t tell anyone about it. It turns out that the baby survived but went up for adoption (unbeknownst to Aunt May), and that family secret was uncovered as a result of the recent crossover event. So…”one of the most pivotal issues in Spider-Man history”? Sure doesn’t feel like it. It feels like someone needs to have a talk with the editorial and marketing teams because this book is widely inconsistent and definitely not living up to the “amazing” name.
