Blu-ray Review: G-Force

Coming out December 15th G-Force, Disney's action adventure spy story based on a high tech guinea pig government spies.  Threatening to cut the G-Force program entirely the rodents take on an impossible mission and start on a great escapade to save the world from a multi millionaire played by Bill Nighy.

Your amusement from this film may correlate directly with your opinion of how funny it would be if FBI spies were rodents (yes, if).  The story begins with a new director of the G-Force program coming in and shutting the secret unit down.  To save themselves the G-Force guinea pigs and mole computer and informations expert decide to take on a case that the regular FBI had been working on for 2 years with no luck.  They manage to break the case yet they were lost before fully able to get a hold on stopping and placed in a pet store without theor high tech gear.  With a little creativity and the help of the local pet store guinea pig they manage and escape and meet back up with their human right hand man.

Back on track again they manage to save the day, gaining control of the out of control kitchen appliances that go crazy in attempt to kill the human race.  In order to do so though they must regain their mole to their side.  In a curious unexpected twist to the movie the mole, a tried and true friend and member of the team, is out for vengeance against the human race for taking away his home.   G-force was an amusing and entertaining movie great for the whole family.  True to Disney it has several lessons to be learned but still with enough humor to entertain the adult that is inevitably going to be watching it.

The Deluxe set that includes DVD, Blu-ray and Digital copy is a very nice combination of disks that basically covers just about everthing one would ever need.  It has the extra added bonus for people that are like my family who constantly loan disks back and forth between other families.  With this set we always have at least one in house.
