Doctor Who invaded Hall H and featured apperances by stars Matt Smith and Karen Gillen. Toby Whithouse, Adam Rogers, Piers Wenger and Beth Willis were also on the panel. Check out some of the highlights:

• “Hall h is the popup carnegie hall of nerddom” – Adam Rogers
• “Look at all the fezes and stuff” -MS
• Dummy ending during reveal, found out after the readthrough, Alex was the only one who knew.
• How can you guve River Song more power? It’s not fair! -MS
• DW is “part of the DNA in UK society” -Toby Whithouse
• “You really commit to the cheering which we like and its kinda wonderful to e part of a legacy and something that has such a history”- MS on “UK versus US fans”
• Beth Willis (BW) and are also here.
• Clip: DW future episode, takes place in hotel (episode is called “God Complex”), Rory will be holding a mop, there is a clown.
• TW likes to find the mitigating factors in a villian to make them interesting (roseana in vampires in venice wanted one city to save a race).
• TW loves show as a viewer.
• BW: Steven tells you what you need to know but is so good at holding things back.
• August 27 is the premiere date for the next episode.
• Timezones confuse MS.
• Clip 2: Cybermen and Silence are back, Doctor Who saves Hitler, River will be back (wearing that eye patch).
• “It’s remarkable that who reaches so far and wide.” -MS
• Matt hides with a shoe horn in KG’s trailer and scares KG, says it genuinely scares her.
• MS is somewhat dissing on Cardiff.
• TW would like to see a 5 Doctor special similar to the 1983 special.
• MS makes stab at Tennant marrying the Doctor’s Daughter.
• MS says DreamLord is one of his favorite actors.
• “He’s got so much guilt and death that he must have to manage every day that I would love to see him back” -MS on DreamLord.
• MS was given a Tardis manual his first day of work.
• “The Tardis just never gets boring” -MS
• MS says Weeping Angels are his favs, KG likes nurse cats.
• Question asked if The Doctor can regenerate into women- BW: decision on who the doctor is depends on what actor/tress presents themself.
• PM: River stole thunder of having a female Doctor.
• PM: Matt is The Doctor, what you see on screen is what you get in real life. He’s just not as competent in real life”.
• MS: When David was leaving the show, his mom texted him saying he should be next Doctor.
• PW: Casting MS was the easiest casting decision he’s ever made.
• Greek mythology aspect to “God Complex” episode-TW
• MS: Steven made fezes cool, Matt wanted to wear a hat and steven gave him a fez
• MS: It’s now going to be all about the stetson.
• BW: Matt pulled a tweed coat and bowtie out of his bag and it became the outfit.
• Question: Why do you keep killing rory? “He’s kinda the kenny of the show”. BW response: He learns a lot everytime he dies.
• Matt has broken a lot of screwdrivers, breaks one a day, says he’s super clumsy, breaks the tardis a lot too.
• MS: Wants to see a True Blood crossover, KG wants startrek next generation (is a big fan, met a cast member and did a major fangirl).
• MS says it will be cool if they popped up in a Big Bang Theory shot because they keep refrencing.
• MS wants to see more of his darkside, things he’s bubbly, effervescent, and mad (his adjectives) because of all of his losses. Darkside will be seen in episode 10.
