For all of the Whovians out there and everyone else who enjoys following the adventures of the mad man in the blue box, the BBC has released the teaser trailer for the next series of Doctor Who. In the long standing tradition of teasers this one does a really good job of getting folks excited while not tell us much of anything, except that the Doctor seems to be poorly lit and has bad-ass music.

Series Eight will feature Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor as well as bring back Jenna Coleman as companion Clara Oswald for her first full season and will air in August of 2014 on BBC1.
