Welcome back to ComicsOnline’s continuing coverage of San Diego Comic Con 2023!

This time, we have a video interview with Chuck Russell and Kade Vu (and his little dog, too!) about their upcoming horror thriller Witchboard. Based on the Witchboard franchise from the 1980s, this new reboot version of Witchboard has an interesting cast and sounds like a modernized upgrade from the original, with much more fleshed out characters and storylines.

In case it wasn’t obvious, we were completely blindsided and delighted by this interview. We were in a press room for something unrelated and then got this pair of wonderful interviews completely by surprise, so forgive me for fumbling and asking about a show. I wish I had a few minutes to prepare for this, as we’d love to have learned even more about this exciting upcoming remake of 1986’s Witchboard.

Check out the interviews below!

Every year our coverage of Comic Con is our annual dazzling array of geek pop culture delights from the established classics to the latest new and different, and due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes, this year was arguably the most different in recent memory. While big Hollywood largely walked the picket lines in Los Angeles, ComicsOnline took the opportunity to return to our roots and concentrate on bringing you all the best in comic book news along with some select coverage of movies, television, games, collectables, events, and everything geek pop culture!

Keep coming back to ComicsOnline for more reviews, interviews, all the best SDCC 2023 coverage, and everything geek pop culture!
