The cosmic adventures of the Green Lantern Corps continue! With the ongoing threats to the emotional spectrum, our favorite emerald warriors are on a race against the clock to reconstruct the Central Power Batteries. With teams headed to both Korugar and Mogo, the Lanterns might find more than they bargained for, as Green Lantern Corps #6 is now available from DC!

We rejoin our heroes on OA, as Jessica Cruz is in the midst of tasking Sinestro with a mission to Korugar to sift through the remains of the Yellow Central Battery. Vexar’u (introduced in the launch of this series) elects to join the mission (hoping to get mentored along the way), but things go awry upon arrival as the Sinister Sons have made their mark on Sinestro’s homeworld… Meanwhile, Jo encourages Jessica to step away from OA for some time off-world, leading to another terrifying encounter with Mogo. Can the powerful Green Lantern recover from the rage-fueled nightmare?

Green Lantern Corps is filled with cosmic adventures that showcase all of our favorite emerald heroes. The dynamic writing duo of Adams and Hampton continue to produce engaging stories that demonstrate a keen understanding and appreciation for this corner of the DC Universe. The addition of the various non-Green Lanterns to the Corps has added a fun twist on the stories, with Sinestro’s return being one of the strongest elements. On the art side, Nahuelpan and Prianto are producing stunning visuals and intricate layers to the outer-space setting, making the chapters feel grand in scale. Lettering teams are the unsung heroes of the comic world, but Sharpe’s quality and care always enhances the reading experience.

Rating: ★★★★☆

(Managing Editor/Director of Media Relations) Matt interviewed MacGyver once (true story), and was invited on a submarine to the Arctic. It hasn't happened yet, but Matt hopes that some day he will get the call and he and Richard Dean Anderson will go off and have a wacky adventure.
