ComicsOnline kicked off 2026 by reading a TON of comics. There’s a lot to talk about, and we wanted to highlight some of our picks for the week of February 11, 2026.

Star Trek: Voyager – Homecoming #5
Rating:

by Kevin Gaussoin
Official Synopsis:
The conclusion we’ve all been waiting for! One last epic, soaring moment with the crew of the Voyager awaits… Captain Janeway and her crew are prisoners of Species 8472 on their organic, ever-changing ship, and the Voyager is similarly snared in its clutches.
Review:
A few years back, I was working at The Pentagon with my cousin and his family was there visiting for some big Army anniversary extravaganza. So his delightful imp of a mom is introduced to our Major General and she pulls the General aside and explains that the Army has never had a Native American General, and that he should promote her son to become the first.
It has been nearly 25 years since the Star Trek: Voyager series finale “Endgame” aired. Star Trek: Voyager – Homecoming #5 is in fact what we’ve all been waiting for. Not just for the past few months since this miniseries debuted. We have been waiting 25 years! For! THIS! Story!
Sure, you’ll want to pick up the rest of this series if you haven’t already, but THIS is the episode-I-mean-issue that all Voyager fans have wanted to see: Happy endings for everyone! A clever plot twist we didn’t see coming but made perfect sense! LGBTQIA+ all over the place to make the backward folks rage on the interwebs! IDIC, mofos! Ever heard of it? I think it’s why Tuvok is smiling in the final panel.
Dear Aunt Connie and I never did see my cousin pin a Brigadier General star on his uniform, and Harry Kim’s mom still hasn’t seen Harry pin on his Lieutenant JG pip! Admiral Paris sure is going to hear about that! But I have it on good authority (via the Bridges themselves) that they weren’t allowed to promote Harry because that was already happening in some other media. What exactly? We have yet to find out, but it seems we still have that to look forward to.
Thanks, Bridges, for this time really truly bringing Voyager home with one last exciting mission. And thanks to IDW and Paramount for making this happen. LLAP!

Star Trek: Lower Decks #16
Rating:

by Kevin Gaussoin
Official Synopsis:
Just as the case of the missing Laapeerians was about to come together, the Cerritos was heavily damaged in a dogfight against an unidentified vessel and forced to return to Federation space… without the away team. Repairs on the Cerritos are bound to take weeks, but Captain Freeman and Mariner aren’t about to sit around and wait when they have an abandoned away team to rescue — especially one under Boimler’s command. Together, they formulate a heist to steal a decommissioned starship and mount a daring rescue before their unknown assailants blast Laapoonia, and their crew members, away.
Review:
Tim Sheridan does it again! While still keeping up with the comedic love letter to Star Trek that Lower Decks is meant to be, Sheridan takes us on a high stakes heist caper that is bound to thrill and amuse adult* Star Trek fans all over the galaxy!
*Because Captain Freeman uses sex bots.
We are continuing to love Lower Decks like Normans and enjoy their tribulations like Badgey. Big thanks to Tim Sheridan and Artists Vernon Smith and Charlie Kirchoff for continuing to bring us one of the most enjoyable comics on the rack each month.

DC KO #4
Rating:

by Matt Sernaker
Official Synopsis:
THE FINAL FOUR ARE PUT TO THE ABSOLUTE TEST! Three mysterious new Omega-charged fighters have entered the tournament… and this trinity of the Absolute will change the face of the DCU forever! It’s all down to how far the final four are willing to go to win in the penultimate chapter of DC K.O.! Plus: Booster’s true allegiance revealed, Darkseid’s return foretold, and a bonkers last page that will bring the battle to the next level!
Review:
It’s hard to put into words just how great this event has been. We’ve known that the Absolute characters would be playing a role in the event, but knowing and experiencing it are two completely different things. If you thought the first few chapters of the event were high energy, then wait until you see this. DC K.O. is substantially bigger than expected, and there’s no way the internet isn’t jumping up and down when this book hits the stands. No spoilers, but get this issue as soon as possible. #GameChanger
