After Yuri Shibya was flushed down the toilet into another world, he found out that he was the king of the Great Demon Kingdom, then he got engaged to another guy, found the Demon Flute that had been lost for hundreds of years, also found the Demon Sword, adopted a daughter that tried to kill him, found out his beast friend from earth is the reincarnation of the great wise man from four thousand years ago and all before he turned sixteen. If all that wasn't enough now Yuri , must find the four Demon Boxes, that where sealed with one of the greatest powers in the hole universe, the power of the Originators. After the four boxes where brought together a great power was released before it could be sealed and Yuri must stop this great force, even if it is the Originators or something greater.

Highlights   

The best thing about Yuri Shibya, is his family. His older brother, Shori Shibuya, is a very smart kid, he is in college and is going to be the governor of Tokyo and the next Demon King of Earth, his hobbies include playing sim dating games and protecting his little brother. Miko Shibuya is Yuri’s mom, she is human, she prefers if her kids call her mama and that every one else calls her Jennifer of Yokohama, she has an over active imagination, and it is very energetic. So much so that when Yuri was young she enjoyed dressing him in dresses. Shoma Shibuya is yuri’s father, he is a Demon, he is more well mannered than his wife and is a fan of the Boston Red Sox. Wolfram von Bielefeld is Yuri’s fiance, he is known as Little Lord Brat due to being over spoiled by his mother, he also calls Yuri mother, mama and he enjoys painting even though he is very bad at it. Greta is Yuri’s and Wolfram’s adopted human daughter, she is the princess from an extinct kingdom, she tried to kill Yuri so her Aunt and Uncle would love her because they hated the Demon King, she enjoys cute animals, knitting cute animals, sweets and being with Yuri.

Overall

I like this season because everything just flows together smoothly and there is a rich plot line. Another thing that makes this season good, is that it utilizes the suspense that was left from season one, for instance some characters that where mention in season one but not shown where finally introduced, like Yuri’s older brother. There are some episodes that don’t follow the main plot and are basically filler episodes, but the timing of the episodes is nice because it is la break from all the seriousness of the series and they tie up some loose ends. This season also catches your curiosity by giving hints of what is going on but doesn’t give you the answer until the last few episodes. Even though it keeps you guessing it isn’t confusing. Also if something was touched on in an earlier episode it gets reincorporated and fully explored and answered. This would be great for any ones anime collection.
