The Voice of Evil: Exclusive Interview with Frank Welker – Voice of Megatron

If you have watched cartoons in the last 25 years, there is a very good chance that you have heard the vocal talents of Frank Welker. Best known as the voice of the evil Megatron from the original Transformers 1980’s cartoon series, Welker has recently returned to voice the character for the award winning animated series: Transformers Prime! TV Review: Breaking In – “The Blind Sided”

Breaking In continues it’s sophomore season with this week’s episode “The Blind Sided”, where the team from Contra Security must track down and apprehend the malicious (and talented) hacker known as Rembrandt. When it is revealed that this uber-genius turns out to be a 14 year old prodigy named Jamal, Veronica decides to bring him to Contra as their new intern, to give her a Blind Side moment (yes it is exactly what you think… and acknowledged in the show). Now the team must find a way to overcome by utilizing their special skill sets to help move Jamal away from a negative life path…if it’s the last thing they do.

High School is Hell

Fifteen years ago, Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered on television and the success of its seven seasons (or twelve if you include Angel) brought supernatural action drama into being, leading inevitably to today’s supernatural shows ranging from The Vampire Diaries, through Supernatural and Being Human, and into the occasionally-clothed and always sexy True Blood. But Buffy had a few things going for it that the others did not. Notably here are its clever and ubiquitous self-referential humor and perhaps most importantly here is that Buffy possessed something that most other supernatural shows never had. It was in the beginning set in one of the most frightening places on earth: High School.

Power Rangers fans have been waiting a very long time for the earlier seasons to be released on DVD (only a few seasons were ever released in their entirety, with most of the 90’s seasons only existing on VHS, while others are only becoming available again to the general public thanks to the recent digital streaming through Netflix).
