Geek Rock Band RANDOM GIBBERISH kicks off the

After Party at Whiskey Girl following San Diego Comic-Con 2013

SAN DIEGO – Comic-Concert: The 2013 After Party, a fan created event that focuses on the musical aspect of pop culture, returns for its Fifth Annual installment, once again being held at the Whiskey Girl (located on the corner of Fifth Avenue and G Street in Downtown San Diego) on Sunday, July 21th at 7pm.

Over the past few years, the “Geek Rock” genre has grown significantly in size, and this special event allows Comic-Con and local San Diegans the opportunity to experience a different side of the Popular Arts. Sponsored in part by Midwest Media Expo and ComicsOnline.com, the evening will feature a special performance by San Diego’s Musical Comedy Band: Random Gibberish!

To help celebrate the Fifth Anniversary of the Comic-Concert music series, Jon St John (best known as the voice of Duke Nukem) will be joining the gang as the celebrity host for the event!

Attendees are encouraged to arrive in costume from Comic-Con for our annual Costume Contest! This portion will be judged by Jon St. John and ComicsOnline’s Editor-In-Chief, Kevin Gaussoin.

There is no cover charge to enter this event, but attendees are kindly requested to make a $5 donation at the door to support this program.

You do not need to have a Comic-Con pass to attend this performance.

Must be 21+ to enter.
