Fan films have been around for years and have a certain reputation for being of dubious quality but with the advent of the digital age and the affordability of high end cameras and special effects software they have reached some seriously next level shit. With that in mind I am still blown away by this fan made trailer for a live action version of the legendary anime Akira. We are living in a golden age of independent fan created passion projects. Freaking Sweet.
