ZOINKS!

The Mystery, Inc. gang is back and ready for new adventures! When a mysterious witch starts causing problems at KISS World (the official KISS themed amusement park), Scooby Doo and his friends will need to team us with the world’s greatest crime solving team: KISS!?! Can these two groups resolve their differences and save the day? Find out in Scooby Doo & KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery, now available to own on DVD, Blu-ray, On Demand, and Digital Download.

This newest release in the Scooby Doo Direct-To-Video series features an all-star voice cast including Frank Welker (Transformers Prime), Matthew Lillard (Hackers), Grey Griffin (Batman: Year One), Mindy Cohn (The Facts of Life), Kevin Smith (Clerks), and Jason Mewes (Clerks). In addition to the talented actors, rock legends Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer voice themselves in this musical adventure!

ScoobyDoo

In terms of Scooby Doo mysteries, this one was definitely a bit more over the top than the typical crime solving adventure. Sure, witches and monsters are an everyday occurrence for Mystery, Inc.,  but alternate dimensions and actual spaceships are a completely different story. Kids will enjoy the over the top spectacle, and adults will enjoy the music and the meta-humor.

Overall

Scooby Doo & KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery definitely has something for everyone. If you are a fan of KISS, you will definitely enjoy the musical numbers and KISS references. If you are a fan of Jay and Silent Bob, you will get a kick out of their cameo appearance in the beginning of the film. If you are looking for something to watch with the whole family, make sure you take a look at this release.

(Managing Editor/Director of Media Relations) Matt interviewed MacGyver once (true story), and was invited on a submarine to the Arctic. It hasn't happened yet, but Matt hopes that some day he will get the call and he and Richard Dean Anderson will go off and have a wacky adventure.
