Got pimp problems? Then LA Jones is your woman. She’s made a nice little business for herself over the last few years: hunting down pimps. Following the murder of a young woman in Reno, she turns her attention to Luciano “Lucky” Strykes, a low-life pimp hiding out in Hollywood. Lucky is notorious for torturing women who try to flee him, and LA is more than willing to dish out her own brand of justice, making this a match made in vengeance.

If you are a woman in need of help, LA Jones is who you seek out. She is out to clean up the vile, dangerous men who use women as punching bags or exploit them for their personal gain. She is judge, jury and executioner. Think of her as a badass, Latina Batman (minus the billions of dollars) who tracks down the lowest of the low and rescues as many women as she can. Next on her hit list is Luciano “Lucky” Strykes, and she is not giving up until she takes him down.

From the creative minds of Kayden Phoenix & Ghezal Omar, Pimp Killer delivers us a feisty, strong Latina heroine who is looking to protect women from pimps and abusers. I will note that this graphic novel is for mature audiences only. Dealing with subject matter from domestic abuse to sex trafficking, this writing brings dark dealings that happen in our society today mixed with a vigilante hero.
