ComicsOnline Gift Guide: Music Games

We’re running out of shopping days, but we still have people to buy for! Why not do a whole household a favor and give rhythm games and peripherals?

Here are ComicsOnline’s Top Five for 2010…

1) Rock Band 3
Rock Band takes the final leap from rhythm games to a true music game with their latest offering. Play real or realistic midi instruments in pro mode or just have fun with up to 6 of your friends at once in party mode. Even if you have all the other Rock Band games, you don’t have this! Plus, you can import most of your previous Rock Band songs into this game!

2) Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock
Guitar Hero
brings a classic rock opera (Rush’s 2112) to our living rooms nested within a new hard rock opera where you are the star of the adventure, destined to save the avatar of rock from doom. With a new guitar and an immersive story, this is one rhythm game every genre fan needs.

3) Microphone with Integrated Controller
Wanna sing without lag? Don’t buy a wireless mic, get a wired microphone. want to not have to deal with a controller as well? Get this wired Microphone with Integrated Controller (MIC).

4) Universal Microphone Stand
When you’re ready to be a real rock star and play guitar (or keytar) and sing at the same time, you need a microphone stand. If you want to keep using your microphone that came with your set, you’ll need access to your console controller as well. With 3 optional grabby claws that perfectly hold each of the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, or Nintendo Wii controllers, this is the perfect microphone stand for your game.

5) Wireless Fender Mustang PRO-Guitar Controller
Want to go Pro? Here’s the place to start. This controller can be played as a standard game controller, or as a midi instrument in Pro Mode.

+1) If you REALLY want to go pro in April, here’s the link to the upcoming Fender REAL electric guitar with integrated controller.

Whatever you choose, We at ComicsOnline hope you have the rockingest holidays ever!
