Spot seven famous actors in Brussels Expo

This was a great time last year. If you’re anywhere near Brussels this weekend, this would be a great plan!

BRUSSELS – If you want to escape the autumn blues already, come to Heroes Comic Con at Brussels Expo on 22, 23 and 24 September. In those majestic halls, an enormous fantasy world full of superheroes, wizards and knights, as well as board games, video games, comics and other pop culture will temporarily spring up. Perhaps the most impressive guests on the list are the 7 world-famous actors from Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Harry Potter, among others, who you can meet in person.

The full guest list of Heroes Comic Con’s second edition has recently been completed and continues on the momentum of the first in 2022, with a mix of established names and recent top hits in streaming land.

Among the wide range of guests we find Gwendoline Christie, (aka Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones and Principal Weems in Wednesday), Tom Ellis, Once Upon a Time stars Lana Parrilla and Rebecca Mader (aka Evil Queen & Wicked Witch), The Witcher- and The Hobbit-actor Graham McTavish, Harry Potter and Star Wars legend Warwick Davis, and as a dessert for gamers: Overwatch- en Valorant voice actress Carolina Ravassa.

You can meet all these actors in photoshoots, autograph sessions and large Q&A panels, all unique opportunities for fans to have a very personal encounter with their heroes. Please note that not every guest will be present on the same days. Check www.heroescomiccon.be/en for more details.

CHOCK-FULL OF POP CULTURE

But that’s not all: pitch your portfolio to a DC Comics editor, meet famous comic book artists in the Comic Village, visit the Star Wars zone with lifelike robots, sets and lightsaber classes, play Quidditch, discover LEGO builds, arcade cabinets, coding initiations, laser tag arenas, board game zones, a huge Geek Market full of collectibles and much more.

As a bonus, with each Heroes Comic Con ticket you will also get access to Made in Asia, the Asian pop culture festival taking place at the same location and time. There, you can sample Asian delicacies, meet YouTube stars, attend K-Pop competitions, score Japanese manga and anime, and do many more activities.

Heroes Comic Con will take place on 22, 23 and 24 September 2023, at Brussels Expo. Tickets, info and guest attendance times can be found at www.heroescomiccon.be/nl.
