Motion comics are becoming an increasingly popular way to bring comics to broader audience by using slight animations and voice acting. The latest comic to receive the multimedia treatment is Joss Whedon's astonishing run on X–Men. After years of crafting his masterful banter and wit-filled dialog on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Firefly, Joss brings his uniquely snappy style of writing to X–Men.
Now Astonishing X-Men- "Gifted" The Complete Motion Comic is available on DVD!

Smallville returns for it's 10th and final season this Friday at 8pm on the CW! Clark was prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice and activated the Kryptonian device known as the "Book of Rao," sending the Kandorians to a new world. After activating the device, Clark was attacked by Zod. While the final battle ensued, Clark allowed himself to be stabbed with a blue kryptonite blade, which removed his powers and allowed him to remain on Earth. The final moments of the season featured Clark, now powerless, plunging to an impending doom. What will become of Kal-El?

ComicBookGrrl: DC Comics Cuts Half its Staff
DC Comics cuts 20% of its staff, proving once again that greed isn’t just good…it’s legal.
As we sink further into the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s, many of us have learned a painful lesson: we’re expendable.
If you’re one of the millions working in the middle class, you’re likely overworked, underpaid, and stressed beyond belief about the possibility of being fired (that is, if you’re lucky enough to still have a job).
This is the face of the recession, plain and simple.
Blu-ray Review: Mars Attacks!
Tim Burton has been involved in the production of a lot of interesting movies in his day, and Mars Attacks! certainly shows a lot of the same creative flair that appears in other works that bear his name. A big, broad parody of B-movie science fiction films, Mars Attacks! is characterized by its huge, star studded cast, over-the-top action, and absolute disregard for life, human or otherwise. Now Mars Attacks! is out on Blu-ray and we all have the opportunity for one little piece of 1996 again.
